Arsenal Women Wins Second UEFA Champions League Trophy, Dethrone Barcelona

Arsenal Women secured their second UEFA Women’s Champions League title with a 1-0 victory over reigning champions Barcelona at the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon.

The decisive goal came in the 74th minute when substitute Stina Blackstenius, assisted by fellow substitute Beth Mead, found the back of the net.

Barcelona, aiming for a third consecutive title, dominated possession and created several opportunities but were unable to break through Arsenal’s resolute defense. Arsenal’s goalkeeper, Daphne van Domselaar, made crucial saves to keep the Spanish side at bay.
