PA Francis Miller Okagbare, father of Nigerian Olympic medallist, Blessing Okagbare has died.
Late Pa Okagbare was aged 80 years.
The death of the PA Okagbare was announced on Monday in a social media post by multiply capped athlete.
She wrote,
“Rest well, my father.
“I am still trying to make peace with it, but I know you’re now with the good Lord, away from everyone who tried to make this world a difficult place for you.
“You are one of the best men I know, and I never took your gentleness, fatherly love, and wisdom for granted.”
At press time, the none of Nigeria’s sports authorities has commented on the incident.
