The cream of politicians that came to pay him Easter homage and celebrate with him in the spirit of Easter celebration, is a confirmation of the wide acceptance of Sen Engr Kenneth Emeka Eze FNSE FNATE by people of Ebonyi Central irrespective of their political party affiliations. It was a validation of his sterling performance as the Senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District.
First on the list were the stakeholder and representatives of people of Ikwueto Idembia led by Dr Chief Chike Onwe, Chief Dominic Nwafor and Dr Augustus Nwankwo. They came to show solidarity to the Distinguished Senator and assured him of their supports and partnership in his quest to serve the people of Ebonyi Central quality representation
Another group is the delegation and representatives of the members of People’s Democratic Party(PDP) of Ezza extraction led by Rt Hon Chris Usulor(Afiaoma) former Member of Ebonyi state House of Assembly, Dr Chief Hyginus Nwokwu, former SSG, Barr Ifeanyi Nworie, Chief Amaechi Oken and a host of other prominent members of the opposition party. Speaking, they said that they came to pay Easter homage to Sen Eze because they’re proud of his performance and are willing to join forces with him as he continues to make the people of Ebonyi Central proud with the intimidating records of his exceptional performance within his one year in office. They said that with their engagements with the Distinguished Senator, they’re ready and prepared to join APC and support the government of His Excellency Rt Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. They acknowledged the efforts of the Governor to evenly develop and distribute social amenities accross the state. They said that they’re at home with the policies and programs of Governor Nwifuru as encapsulated in his charter of needs agenda. They said that Sen Ken has proven himself a true leader the people of Ebonyi Central must trust, support and work with .
Beaming with joy and happiness, Rt Hon Anayo Edwin Nwonu, ANATEX, a two time Member of the Federal House of Representatives with his political group, touched down at the country home of Dist Sen Eze to pay him an Easter homage and appreciate the Senator for his committed efforts to alleviating the suffering of the people with the provision of democracy dividends to the people and empowering our youths with gainful employments for self sustainability. He stated his readiness to join APC to support the government of His Excellency Rt Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and the Senator in the good works he’s doing in Ebonyi Central.
Next is the forum of Coordinators of Ezza South, the group which came with their political foot soldiers said that they came to show solidarity to the people’s leader and celebrate together with him. The Coordinators who’re mainly youths commended the Senator for the number of Ebonyi Central youths the Senator has given federal job. They maintained that as a people from Ezza, the Senator is worthy son every Ezza person should be proud of, they stated that they’ll continue to support the Senator to keep up the good work. The Coordinators passed vote of confidence on Sen Eze, urging him to remain focused as he continues to serve the people effective representation.
On their own, Eric Trust Foundation, a political organization of the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ebonyi state, His Excellency Dr Eric Kelechi Igwe were on ground to pay Easter homage to the Senator. The group led by Hon Dr Kelvin Udenyi, Hon Ifeanyi Nwakpu, member of Ebonyi state House of Assembly and Elder Steve Orogwu eulogies the Senator and stated unequivocally that the Senator has made the people of Ebonyi Central Senatorial proud. They declared their unalloyed support to Senator Eze.
Also on ground to celebrate with the Senator were the executives of APC in Ezza South led by Barr. Uwa, the Ezza South local government Chairman of the party. In their remarks, they said that Sen Ken had not betrayed the confidence the party and the electorates of Ebonyi Central bestowed on him. They assured the Senator of the 100% support of the party.
Other groups include, Agunechemba Elites of Ezza South and Ikwo LGAs, Agunechemba women, Amagu women, etc.
Addressing the groups separately, the Senator commended Ikwo people for their votes, the trust and confidence they reposed in him, declaring that he’ll continue to appreciate Ikwo people.
He said that soon he’ll rollout his empowerment programs for the youths and distribution of farm inputs for farmers.
Sen Eze who is also the Chairman Senate Committee on Information and National Orientation enumerated his achievements, stating that he has secured not less than forty fedreal jobs to the people of Ebonyi Central. He said that during Christmas celebration, he distributed rice to the people as part of his palliative to the people. He said that he has started drilling water boreholes across the Senatorial Zone.
Speaking further, he said that by the time he starts implementing his constituency projects, the people of Ebonyi Central will better appreciate his giant strides in the develppment of the land and people of Ebonyi Central. He thanked all the people for coming to pay him homage and identify with him.
He wished the people of Ebonyi Central happy Easter.
