Ondo Federal Lawmaker, Ifeoluwa Ehindero Awards Scholarship to JAMB Top Scorer

The lawmaker representing Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency of Ondo State in the National Assembly, Hon Ifeoluwa Ehindero has awarded scholarship to Miss Oluwademilola Oreoluwa Daramola an indigene of Ondo State who emerged one of the top scorers in the recently released 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.
Miss Daramola , a native of Ogbagi Akoko within the Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency scored an aggregate of 341 in the UTME examination.
Hosting Miss Daramola and representatives of her family in the National Assembly on EWenesday, Hon. Hon. Ifeoluwa Ehindero expressed happiness over the achievement of one of his constituents.
Hon. Ehindero emphasized the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving academic excellence. “I am deeply honored to meet Miss Oluwademilola Oreoluwa Daramola and her family today, her remarkable performance in the JAMB examination reflects her commitment to academic excellence and serves as an inspiration to us all,” the lawmaker remarked.

In recognition of her outstanding accomplishment, Hon. Ehindero announced a scholarship award of N1million to support Miss Daramola’s educational pursuits. The lawmaker also pledged continued assistance to ensure the success of her academic and professional endeavors.

Reacting to the gesture of the lawmaker, the representative of the Daramola family, Mr. Olufemi Daramola, thanked the lawmaker for his encouraging words and leadership. He said, “We are profoundly grateful for this generous gesture from Hon. Ehindero,” it is a testament to his commitment to education and empowerment in our community.”

Also an aide to Hon. Ehindero, Bankole Muhammad, commended the lawmaker for his unwavering dedication to promoting education in Akoko Northwest and Ogbagi Akoko saying that the “scholarship will undoubtedly make a significant impact on Miss Daramola’s life and future prospects, while serving as a challenge to other upcoming students that hard work pays”
