Rawlings Agada Appointed Deputy Clerk to the Senate

The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has appointed Mr. Emmanuel Rawlings Agada as the Acting Deputy Clerk to the Senate.

Until his latest appointment, Agada was the Deputy Clerk, Administration, in the House of Representatives.

The appointment of the Benue State born legislative bureaucrat was contained in an official memo signed by the Chairman of NASC, Ahmed Kadi Amshi.

The memo states that that the appointment was part of the “decisions taken at its 585 meeting which held on Wednesday Nov 1 and Thursday Nov2, 2023, and in exercise of its powers as provided in Section 6(b) of the National Assembly Service Act 2014”

Agada, an alumnus of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria is one of the most experienced top civil servants in the National Assembly, a highly trained and well traveled public servant, he has held various high level positions in the National Assembly.

Before his appointment as the Deputy Clerk to the House of Representatives, he served as the Director of Information and Research.
