Wike, Fubara, Amaewhule Ride Together, Attend Wike’s Uncle’s Burial in Port Harcourt

Former Governor of Rivers State and FCT Minister Mr. Nyesom wike and his successor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara have attended an event together for the first time since the political crisis in the oil rich state started over one years ago.

The duo accompanied by the suspended members of the Rivers State House of Assembly attended the funeral ceremony of an uncle to Mr. Wike, Elder Temple Omeruike Onuoha at Rumuepiricom in Obio/Akpor LGA of the state.

The warring politicians had earlier after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu on Thursday jointly addressed the media where they announced that all conflicts among them have been resolved.

Sources at the Presidency indicate that President Bola Tinubu will soon lift the state-of-emergency imposed on the state on March 18, 2025. The state of emergency according to the president is to last for an initial period of six months, while both the governor and members of the state house of assembly were suspended and directed to vacate their offices.
