Operatives of the Benin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have begun investigations into 30 suspected internet fraudsters arrested at an alleged cybercrime training centre, popularly referred to as a “Yahoo School,” in Benin City, Edo State.
The facility, known as Hustle Kingdom (HK), was raided by officers of the 4 Brigade, Nigerian Army, who handed over the suspects to the EFCC on Monday, April 28, 2025, for further investigation.
According to the EFCC, the so-called Yahoo School was fully equipped to resemble a conventional computer training institute, complete with desktop computers, workstations, and accessories. However, investigators also discovered a section stocked with fetish items believed to be used for ritualistic purposes.

Recovered items from the suspects include a Toyota Corolla vehicle, multiple mobile phones, laptops, and MP3 players.
“What we found was a sophisticated setup disguised as a computer school, but clearly designed to train and execute internet fraud,” an EFCC official said.
The EFCC has confirmed that the suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
