The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared four foreign nationals wanted over alleged involvement in a fraudulent scheme linked to an online trading platform known as Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX).
In a public notice issued on Friday by the commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, the anti-graft agency identified the suspects as Johnson Okiroh Otieno, Israel Mbaluka, Joseph Michiro Kabera, and Serah Michiro. Their last known address was listed as No 166, Idimu Egbeda Road, Lagos State.
According to the EFCC, the individuals are wanted as “suspected foreign accomplices” in the fraud case, which was perpetrated through the CBEX platform.
“The public is hereby notified that the persons whose photographs appear above are suspected foreign accomplices wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for fraud allegedly perpetrated on an online trading platform called Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX),” the notice stated.
The EFCC has urged anyone with useful information regarding the whereabouts of the suspects to contact its offices across the country. “Anybody with useful information as to their whereabouts should please contact the Commission in its Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja offices, or through these numbers: 09-9044751-3, 08093322644, 08183322644, 07026350721-3, 0706350724-5,” the Commission appealed.

The Commission also advised the public to reach out via email at info@efccnigeria.org or to report to the nearest police station or other security agencies.
In another development the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday, April 25, 2025 arrested 24 suspected internet fraudsters.
They were arrested at Mararaba in Nasarawa State following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in cybercrimes.
Items recovered from them include three cars, 34 phones and 7 laptops
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed.
