President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of new leadership for several Federal Government agencies and departments, including the Nigerian Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru Jos, Plateau State, the Nigerian Institute of Sports, the National Population Commission among others.
The new appointments reflect President Tinubu’s efforts to bring in many key stakeholders into his government ahead of the 2027 general elections. Among the new appointees are two former Presidents of the Senate, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim and Senator Ken Nnamani and the immediate past Deputy Governor of Edo State, Mr. Philip Shaibu.
According to a statement credited to the presidency on Saturday, the new appointment are:
