Anastatsie Brenda Biya, the only daughter of Cameroon’s long standing president, Paul Biya has called on electorate in the West African nation not to vote for his father in the scheduled October 12, 2025 presidential election.
In a tiktok video shared on Thursday, 27-year old Brenda said she would not “vote for Paul Biya” saying she “hoped there would be another president.”
Brenda is a rap artiste and businesswoman based in the United States of America, she has been very critical of her father’s strangle-hold on power in Cameroon.

92 year old President Paull Biya is contesting to be president for the 8th time. Biya is currently the oldest head of state in the world and has ruled Cameroon for 43 years.
Brenda Biya has engaged in a running battle with her family, especially with her father. While in Switzerland we she had gone to school, Brenda had threatened to cut ties with her family accusing them of “mistreating” her and making her life difficult.
In the Tiktok video, Brenda says, “Do not vote for Paul Biya. He made a lot of people suffer, including his own family. I hope we will have another president.”
