Former Speaker of House of Representatives, Hon Umar Ghali Na’Abba is dead.
The late federal lawmaker died in Abuja on Tuesday night.
According to family sources, the remains of the former Speaker would be buried in Abuja today according to Islamic rites.
Late Na’Abba is a native of Kano State. He was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he became the party’s candidate for Kano Municipal Federal Constituency, a position he won during the April 1999 general elections and subsequently emerged the Speaker of the House after the pioneer Speaker, Salisu Buhari was removed over his certificate forgery scandal.
