The Supreme Court has refused to admit the “fresh evidence” of President Tinubu’s school records from the Chicago State University (CSU).
The court says it cannot invoke section 22 of the constitution after expiration of 180 days stipulated by law.
The lead Judge, Justice Inyang Okoro in dismissing the application of the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar said,
“One wonders what Atiku’s intends to do when none of his grounds of appeal is not hinged on forgery of certificate against Mr Tinubu.”
“Finally, on this application, fresh evidence is not received as a matter of cause.”
