The Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani has appointed Mallam Abdulkadir Muazu Mayere as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Mayere replaces Mallam Balarabe Abbas Lawal who was on Monday sworn in as the Minister for Environment by President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, the new SSG has invested 32 years in public service.
According to the statement, Mayere has served in various high level capacities including serving in the Federal Ministries of Mines and Steel Development, and Agriculture and Rural Development.
The new SSG rose to the rank of Director in the federal civil service.
According to the CPS, the “Governor Uba Sani expects the new SSG to use his wealth of experience towards achieving the SUSTAIN Agenda of the present administration. He wished Mayere Allah’s guidance and protection in his new assignment.”
