The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the traditional title, Soniyako Nupe, bestowed on her by the Etsu Nupe, Dr. Yahaya Abubakar.
Speaker Abbas described the title as an honour well deserved by Mrs. Tinubu due to her philanthropy and motherly care for women and children across the country.
In a congratulatory message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, the Speaker described the First Lady as a woman whose influence goes far beyond being the wife of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. He noted that Mrs. Tinubu has carved a niche for herself as a political, religious, traditional, and woman leader.
Speaker Abbas noted that Senator Remi Tinubu has been so honoured by traditional institutions across the country, signifying her recognition across borders.
While congratulating the First Lady, the Speaker wished her more years of service to God and humanity.
