The Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has condoled the Minority Leader of the Senate, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, over the loss of his son and grandson, saying it is painful and unfortunate.
Speaker Abbas said it is more painful that Senator Moro’s son, Victor, died in a tragic accident about a day after the lawmaker lost a grandson.
In his condolence message to the lawmaker representing Benue South Senatorial District, the Speaker commiserated with Senator Moro, saying only God can console him and his family in this painful time.
“Losing a loved one is painful; losing two within a short period of time is almost unbearable. Our hearts and prayers are with the Moro family.
“We mourn your loved ones with you. May God console you in this moment of grief,” the Speaker said.
Speaker Abbas prayed to God to grant Senator Moro’s son and grandson eternal rest, and the fortitude for the family to bear the loss.
