The Plateau State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has affirmed the election of Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
The tribunal dismissed the petition filed by the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda
The tribunal ruled that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the party of Governor Mutfwang conducted a valid congress on September 25, 2022 in line with the party’s constitution and in compliance with extant electoral laws and guidelines.
