NNPCL, Independent Marketers Increase Fuel Price

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) on Monday announced an increase in fuel price across its retail outlets across the country.

Petrol which sold between, N1, 226 and 1, 300 over the weekend has been increased to N1, 345 per litre.

In Abuja, several NNPCL retail outlets have effected the new price, while several independent marketers now sell a litre for N1, 350.

A petrol attendant at a popular filling station at the Nyanya area of Abuja told our correspondent that the “management told us that there is an increase in prices due to sudden rise oil price in the international market.”
