Arrangements have been concluded for the burial of the Nigeria’s former president, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari rtd. in his hometown of Daura in Katsina State later today (Monday).
The former president died on Sunday in a London Hospital where he had been taken to receive medical attention.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, the Chief of Staff to the President Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum among other top government officials and diplomats are already in London to accompany the remains of the late president back to Nigeria.
Many Nigerian leaders including President Bola Tinubu, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida, leaders of the National Assembly have sent their condolences to the family of the departed president and Nigerians at large.
President Bola Tinubu has declared a 7-day mourning, while the national flag will be flown a half mast.
