A medical emergency evacuation aircraft, a Beechcraft 300 King Air. R/n. N531(2)W(tbc) has crashed killing ist four crew members including two pilots and two medical staff.
The doomed aircraft came down near Chinle Municipal Airport, Arizona, USA just before landing.
Information available to the media indicate that the medical transport aircraft was enroute to pick up a patient from the airport and it was during its approach to land that the aircraft crashed and was destroyed killing all four onboard, the cause of the accident has not been determined at the moment.
Airport sources say the weather was very clear and the aircraft did not alert ATC officials of any emergency before the crash.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene of the accident on time, but could not save the crew due to a massive fuel-fed fire that never gave the crew a chance.
Security has cordoned off the accident scene as both the FAA and NTSB are expected to take over the crash site for investigations.
