Former Governor of Kaduna state and recently decamped member of the Social Democratic Party Nadir El-Rufai on friday evening Mocked critics over his visit along with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar led a delegation, Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Gabriel Suswam (Benue), and Ahmed Makarfi (Kaduna) to visit former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Kaduna.
Nadir El-Rufai in his X handle says there visit is not political saying group participated in Jumaat prayers at the Yahaya Road Mosque and later shared a meal with Former President Mohammadu Buhari.
Recall a delegation earlier on friday led by Vice President Atiku Abubakar in company of Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Gabriel Suswam (Benue), and Ahmed Makarfi (Kaduna) to visited former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence.

Nasir El-Rufai emphasized that the visit was not politically motivated, stating, “Our adversaries should not lose sleep. It is not about politics. It is about unity and brotherhood.”
Despite these assertions, some political analysts and observers have speculated that the gathering could be part of early coalition-building efforts ahead of the 2027 elections.
This visit follows a series of recent interactions among these political figures, including meetings between Atiku and El-Rufai, as well as engagements with other prominent leaders.
