The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has withdrawn its campaign council for Edo State ahead of the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
There have been disquiet in the party in Edo over the composition of the campaign Council.
Affirming the dissolution of the campaign Council, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba in a statement on Wednesday called on the members party in the state maintain status quo.
“Members of our Party in Edo State and the Nation should therefore disregard the earlier publication and await the updated list.
“All leaders, critical stakeholders, members of our Party and the general public should take note accordingly,” the statement read in part.
