Labour Party, ADP Win Rep, Senate Seats in Plateau Rerun Elections

Mr. Daniel Asama of the Labour Party (LP) has the rerun election for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency of Plateau State.

Prof James Garbam, the Returning Officer for the election declared Asama as the winner after he polled 66,422 votes to defeat Mohammed Gwani of the Peoples Redemption Party (PDP), who came second with  61,670 votes.

Similarly, the candidate of Action Democratic Party, ADP, Prince Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang, has also won the rerun election for Plateau North senatorial senatorial district.

According to the returning officer, Prof. Nestor Chagok Prince Dachungyang  polled 122,442 votes to defeat his closest rival, Yakub Muhammad Safiu of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, (NNPP) who polled 53,980 votes to emerge 2nd.
