The Governor of Rivers State, Simi Fubara and his predecessor, Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike are meeting with President Bola Tinubu in Aso Rock Villa.
Both Fubara and Wike a locked in a battle of superiority in Rivers State which has resulted in a fracas in Port Harcourt.
On Sunday night FACTSHEET reported that the State’s House of Assembly Complex was set on fire by thugs allegedly loyal to Fubara in a bid to thwart an Impeachment move against the Governor.
Also, Governor Fubara on Monday dissolved his cabinet and sacked several to government officers, especially those seen being loyal to Mr. Wike.
The meeting in Aso Rock is said to be at the instance of the President.
