How Google Celebrated Nigeria @63

The California, United States based international technology company, Google joined millions of Nigerians to celebrate the country’s 63rd Independence Anniversary.

 

Google, the leading Internet search engine services provider and artificial intelligence (AI) developer changed its search engine colours in most of West Africa and Nigeria to the Green White Green colours of Nigeria and also embedded the Nigerian flag on its search engine logo.

 

Several international companies and the diplomatic community roled out the drums to congratulate Nigeria for holding on as one indivisible nation since more than half a century ago.

Nigeria gained Independence on October 1, 1960 from Great Britain after over a century of colonial rule.  Though the 2023 Anniversary fell on a Sunday the Federal Government of Nigeria declared Monday October 2nd as a national holiday.
