Tribunal Dismisses Sen. Amah Nnachi’s Petition Against Umahi, Awards 200k to Umahi
[wtn_news layout=’grid/list’] The Ebonyi State National and State Assembly Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja has dismissed the petition filed by Sen Michael Amah Nnachi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Ebonyi South Senatorial District on the declaration of former governor of Ebonyi State, Chief David Umahi as the validly elected lawmaker on the February 25, Election
The tribunal ruled that Sen Nnachi did not prove the allegations of non compliance to the electoral Act 2022 as alleged by the PDP candidate.
The tribunal awarded 200,000 penalty against the petitioner.
