A section of the Supreme Court of Nigeria has been gutted by fire.
According to the Spokesman of the Court, Festus Akande told journalists that no one was hurt, he, however, confirmed that electrical spark may have caused the inferno.
Some critical offices, including the office of Justice Mohammed Saulawa was burnt in the early morning fire which disrupted all activities at the apex court complex.

At the time of this report men of the Federal Fire Service were already at the complex but staff of the court had already contained the fire with the help of fire extinguishers installed within the court premises.
