President Bola Tinubu has renamed the University of Maiduguri after former President, Muhammadu Buhari.
The University will now be known as Muhammadu Buhari University, Maiduguri.
Presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga announced the decision of the president in a post shared on his X handle on Thursday.
According to the Onanuga, ” President Tinubu renames University of Maiduguri as MUHAMMADU Buhari University. President Tinubu announced the honour at the session of tributes of the Federal Executive Council to his late predecessor.”
