The Senate has confirmed the nomination of Prof. Melvin Damian Ayogu a member of Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The affirmation of Prof Ayogu follows the adoption of the report of the Senate Committee on Banking , Insurance & Other financial Institutions presented on plenary by the Committee Chairman, Senator Abiru, Mukail Adetokunbo.
Ayogu was earlier nominated by President Bola Tinubu.
