NUJ FCT Council Chair Grace Ike Hosts Former Chairmen

In an effort to strengthen unity and learn from past experiences, the Chairperson of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council, Grace Ike, recently convened a special meeting with former chairmen of the council in Abuja.
The event, held at Sinoki Restaurant, was designed to foster unity, share experiences, and encourage collaboration among current and past leaders of the union.
Prominent former chairmen in attendance included Comrade Amos Dunia, Comrade Abduljelil Adebayo, Comrade Shok Jok, Comrade Alhaji Ndamadu Sule, Comrade Jacob Edi, Comrade Malachy Uzendu, and Comrade Paul Ella Abechi.
Each shared insights into the challenges they faced during their tenure and offered valuable lessons from their leadership journeys.
While Congratulating her emergence as the first female chairman of the NUJ FCT, they pledged support for her leadership qualities and asked all well meaning members to join hands with her administration to move the union forward.
The initiative has been widely praised as a smart and progressive move. It highlights the current leadership’s willingness to learn and grow, with a clear goal of building a stronger and more united NUJ FCT Council.
