The Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Mr.Kayode Opeifa has apologised to Nigerian journalists over the harassment of one of its members and reporter with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Ms. Ladi Bala.
Mr. Opeifa in a joint press conference held at the FCT Secretariat of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Utako Abuja apologised over his verbal attack on Ms Bala while she was covering the derailment of a Kaduna bound train last week.
The NUJ and several rights groups had condemned the action of the NRC MD.
