As the people of Ebonyi state join millions across Nigeria to celebrate the New 2025, Chief Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, the 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state, calling for collective efforts towards progress and unity in the New Year.
In his New Year message, Dr. Odii emphasized hope, love, and a brighter future, urging every citizen to work towards creating thriving conditions for themselves, their families, and future generations. He reminded the people of Ebonyi that the journey towards success is a shared responsibility, stressing that there should be no room for excuses, and success must be the only option.

“I am highly convinced to charge you—our esteemed fathers, mothers, youths, and children alike—to have no room for excuses and to have no options but to succeed this year and always,” Dr. Odii said in his message.
The PDP stalwart also quoted Philippians 4:8, urging the people of Ebonyi to focus on positive virtues such as truth, justice, purity, love, and excellence as guiding principles for the year. He encouraged Ebonyians to work together to make these values a reality in their daily lives.
“Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is anything praiseworthy, let us think and expectantly work to bring these things to fruition,” he said, reinforcing the importance of virtues in building a successful community.
Dr. Odii also called on Ebonyians to embrace the duties, challenges, and opportunities that 2025 presents, and to inspire solutions, love, faith, and goodness in every action. He expressed optimism that with collective resolve, the state could achieve greater prosperity and unity in the coming year.
