The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the May/June 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.
Dr. Amos Dangut, the Head of National Office (HNO) of WAEC Nigeria made the announcement in Lagos on Monday.
He revealed that about 1.9,illion students in 23, 000 secondary schools in Nigeria sat for the examination.
Announcing the release of the results, he said, “Today, I am happy to announce to you that all the processes leading to the release of the results have been concluded.”
The HNO stated that the examination was successful despite some hitches recorded during the exercise. He also revealed that there is, however, a 33.8% decrease in candidates’ performance in the examination.
Candidates can from today check their results through various electronic means.
