JUST IN: INEC Announces Date for Recruitment of Ad-hoc Staff for 2027 Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced September 18, 2026 as the commencement date for  recruitment of Adhoc staff for the conduct of the 2027 general elections.

The Commission in a circular issued in Abuja on Friday stated that the online portal for the recruitment will last between September 18, and November 18, 2026.

The Commission also stated that the recruitment process will be strictly done “online.”

The adhoc staff are expected to serve alongside INEC permanent staff to conduct the 2027 elections from the polling units up to the state levels.
