
Barely two days after the horrific crash an ATR 42-500 aircraft belonging to the Nigerian Air Force which killed 25 NAF personnel, a fighter helicopter belonging to NAF has made an emergency landing in a farmland in Benue State.
Reports from Markurdi, indicates that the latest incident occurred at Utur Tse-Igboji, Bar Council Ward, along the Welfare Quarters–Mopol 13 Ring Road.
An eyewitness, Stephen Ikpam told TVC News that the helicopter reportedly developed a technical fault, forcing the crew to make an emergency landing. Residents rushed to the scene to assist the officers on board. All those on board reportedly survived and came out safely.
