Outspoken Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Mr Segun Sowunmi has announced that he is leaving the PDP to work for President Bola Tinubu.
Sowunmi, a hitherto acerbic critic of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu was invited to the Lagos home of the President over the weekend where he was seen in a portrait photograph with President after the visit.
While featuring on ChannelsTV PoliticsToday programme on Monday evening, Mr. Sowunmi said, “If I am going to work with the president (Tinubu) I am going to leave the PDP completely.”
Sowunmi has supported former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar up until he made the Lagos visit.
