Dr. Awele Vivian Elumelu, a medical doctor and the Chairperson of Avon Healthcare Limited, managers of Healthcare investments of Heirs Holdings.
She is the wife of Nigerian top banker, Mr. Tony Elumelu.
Dr. Awele Elumelu, an alumna of the University of Benin, Benin City is also an avid marathon runner who has taken part and completed world class marathon races including, London, New York, Manchester, and Chicago.
Dr. Awele recently (few months to her 55th birthday) conquered the 42 plus kilometer Tokyo Marathon.
Over the years, Mrs. Elumelu has stood out as a “quiet storm” behind massive success stories across sectors, including investments, mentorship, women and youth empowerment (Not Nigerian political empowerment).
Born on June 23, 1970 in present day Delta State, Mrs. Elumelu turns 55 years today.
