Former First Lady of Ghana, Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, has passed away at the age of 77.
Mrs. Nana Rawlings according to reports died at Ridge Hospital, Accra at the early hours of Thursday.
The former first lady was born on 17 November 1948 in Cape Coast.
She was an influential figure in the Ghanaian political and social circles.
As the wife of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, she served as Ghana’s First Lady first in 1979 and later from 1981 to 2001.
