Ex Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Vice President Kashim Shetimma Join Muslim worshippers at funeral prayers (Jana’iza) for Professor Jibril Aminu, at the National Mosque in Abuja.
Professor Jibril Aminu, died in the early hours of Wednesday. He was a Visiting Professor of Medicine at the Howard University College Washington between 1979 and 1980. He was appointed Minister of Education 1989 and 1990, and Minister of Petroleum 1990 to 1992.
Late prof Aminu was appointed Nigerian Ambassador to the United States of America between 1999 and 2003.
He was elected Senator of Adamawa Central between 2003 and 2007.
