EFCC Finally Arraigns Ex Aviation Minister, Sirika, Daughter, on N2.7billion Fraud, Bail Set at N100million
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned former Minister Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, before Justice Sylvanus Orji of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court sitting in Abuja on allegations of corruption and misappropriation of public funds.
The former minister, according to the EFCC is charged for an alleged N2.7bn fraud in connection with the ill-fated Nigerian Air project.
Sirika, is arraignedalongside his daughter, Fatima Sirika, and his in-law.
The three accused, however, pled not guilty.
Their lawyers of the accused lawyers moved applications for their bail which was granted by the Judge who set their bail on N100M each and two sureties each in the like sum.
