A disturbing online video (seen by FACTSHEET) currently trending has shown a Nigerian policeman executing a handcuffed suspect in broad daylight while onlookers watch helplessly.
The execution which obviously took place in Delta State shows the handcuffed man pleading for mercy and promising to take the police to someone’s hideout when the police man executed him and ordered his colleagues to put the corpse in the “boot.”
It is not clear the division of the police that carried out the exection .
At press time the Nigeria Police Authorities have not responded to public outcry over the extra-judicial killing.
