Deputy Speaker, Kalu Celebrates Gbajabiamila and Sanwo-Olu on Their Birthdays

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu  has extended warm felicitations to the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as they mark their birthdays.

 

Hon. Gbajabiamila clocks 64 on June 25, while Governor Sanwo-Olu celebrates his 61st birthday on the same day.

 

In a congratulatory message by his SA Press Affairs Udora Orizu, the Deputy Speaker noted the remarkable coincidence of both distinguished leaders sharing the same birth date, describing it as fitting for two men whose contributions to governance and national development have left enduring footprints across the country.

 

Paying tribute to Gbajabiamila, Kalu praised his exceptional leadership, patriotism, and unwavering commitment to public service.

 

He recalled Gbajabiamila’s distinguished legislative career, particularly his tenure as Speaker of the House of Representatives, during which he championed people-oriented reforms and strengthened the legislature’s role in advancing democratic governance.

 

Kalu also commended Gbajabiamila’s performance as Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that he has brought his wealth of experience, strategic insight, and administrative competence to bear in supporting the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and ensuring effective coordination within the Presidency.

 

He said, “Rt Hon. Gbajabiamila has remained a shining example of visionary leadership, dedication, and service to the nation. From his impactful years in the National Assembly to his current role as Chief of Staff to the President, he has continued to demonstrate uncommon commitment to the progress, stability, and development of Nigeria. The Deputy Speaker also congratulated Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, applauding his transformational leadership and commitment to the growth and development of Lagos State.

 

According to Kalu, Governor Sanwo-Olu has distinguished himself through visionary governance, implementation of impactful policies and infrastructure projects that continue to improve the quality of life of Lagos residents.
