
Nigerian start-up airline, Binani Air has announced it has concluded all preparations to commence direct flight operations from Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos to Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, in the Northeast.
According to a schedule issued by the airline, “ Binani Air is pleased to announce the introduction of a new direct Yola–Lagos flight service, effective Thursday, 17 September 2026, operating every Thursday.

The schedule indicates that the airline will operate the Yola → Lagos: 8:00 AM, while the
Lagos → Yola: 3:15 PM on Thursdays.
The airline stated that the “new service provides passengers with a faster, easier, and more convenient travel option between Yola and Lagos.”
Binani Air secured its Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) in March 2026 with a two 76-seater Embraer E170s
The airline had its inaugural flight on May 11 between Abuja and Kano and onward to Yola. It has since expanded its fleet and hopes to expand its operations across the growing Nigerian aviation sector.
