Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the ongoing Anambra State governorship election has alleged that there is widespread vote-buying.

Prince Ukachukwu made the allegation after casting his votes at his polling unit is Osumenyi, Inewi South Local Government Area.

According to the APC flag bearer, “largely there have been vote buying, in one or two places my people visited, there is vote buying.”

Decrying the situation, Ukachukwu noted that  “It is our collective treasury that is being looted,” insisting that the vote-buying is happening in “all poling boots.”

He blamed both those in government and the electorate for the menace of vote-buying saying that “if there is no seller there cannot be a buyer.”
