ADC, Coalition leaders Move to Yar’Adua Centre as Abuja Hotel Suddenly Cancels Use of Venue

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other leaders of the opposition coalition group has relocated the unveiling of its programme from the Wells Carlton Hotels and Apartment, Asokoro to the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Cebntre, Abuja.

The shift was a result of sudden cancellation of the programme by the management of Wells Carlton hotel.

ADC’s Deputy National Secretary, Nkem Ukandu, announced the new venue hours after the sudden cancellation of the event by the management of the hotel which was initially slated to host the unveiling ceremony.

FACTSHEET gathered the coalition organisers had fully paid for the use of the Carlton Hotel, but without prior warning the hotel cancelled the programme at its premises without any reason.

The change of the Venue was contained in a statement signed by  the Deputy National Secretary of the ADC, Nkem Ukandu a few hours ago stated that all members have been informed and that at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja by 2:00 pm on Wednesday.

“Members of the National Working Committee, National Executive Committee, BOT, and other key stakeholders and members are expected to attend.

“Please note that attendance is self-sponsored.”
