Kidnappers holding a teacher identified as Mogaji Adebanjo has demanded a ransom of N100 million before he could be released.
In a viral online video, Mr. Adebanjo is seen pleading with the public to save him from being killed, in an emotion laden voice, the abducted teacher said that he has “a pregnant wife and an aged father.”
“My name is Mogaji Adebanjo. I am from Ondo State. I work with Vine Crest College. When I was going to Abuja yesterday, I was kidnapped along Kabba Road,”
“They are demanding N100 million as ransom. Please help me. I don’t want to die. I have a pregnant wife, a four-year-old son, and an aged father. Please help me.”

“Please help me. They want N100 million. I was caught yesterday. I am from Imo Arigidi, Ondo State. Please.”
The ordeal of Adebanjo recreates a similar incident in Edo State where a lady was kidnapped and held in the forest for several weeks, while her abductors uses her phone to circulate a video pleading for her rescue through ransom payment.
