Political Parties Collect Access Code to INEC Portal [FULL LIST]

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed that nine political parties have collected access codes to upload their candidates’ particulars on the commission’s portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The INEC National Commissioner in charge of Voter Education and Publicity, Malam Haruna, made the disclosure to the media in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to him “as of close of work on Monday, nine politicians have collected the access code for the national elections.”

Political parties listed to have collected their unique codes include, Accord, Action Alliance (AA), African Democratic Congress (ADC), All Progressives Congress (APC), Labour Party (LP), National Democratic Congress (NDC), and National Democratic Party (NDP).
Others include, (Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), and Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Haruna explained that the commission has made it that individual political parties should approach the commission to collect their codes.

While calling on all political parties to collect their codes on time, he warned that, “INEC has been generous by extending the deadline from the close of work to midnight of the deadline date. If any political party decides to wait until the deadline, INEC cannot be blamed for that.”
He also advised political parties adhere strictly to issued INEC guidelines in filling up their candidate nomination.
