Ace Nigerian broadcaster, Yahaya Umar is dead. Umar is one of the most recognizable voices on the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) network.
He was a constant anchor of the widely monitored 7am and 10pm network news on the FRCN.
A source in FRCN who craved anonymity because there has not been official announcement of the death of the broadcaster told FACTSHEET that the news of Mr. Umar’s demise filtered in on Monday morning.
Details of the what led to the death of the ace broadcaster were still sketchy at press time.
