Today, I speak to you not just as a businessman or a political figure but as a fellow citizen who deeply respects and values the role work play in building an efficient society.
Workers’ Day is not just a date on the calendar. It is a tribute to your sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering commitment to service. Each day, you rise to fulfil the noble task that life has given every human: the right to work and the right to live with dignity.
There is no doubt that our collective future depends on our productive workforce who are willing and able to work. From the farms to the factories, classrooms to clinics, offices, to construction sites, your labour powers development and drives dreams. I look forward to where there would be jobs for any Ebonyians who want to work.
As we look to the future, I remain resolute in my commitment to a better Ebonyi, one that is excellent, inclusive, and filled with unlimited possibilities. I believe in a state where hard work is rewarded, where no one is left behind, and where every worker can live a life of purpose and pride.
