ValueJet Commences Daily Flight from Abuja to Bauchi
Lagos based airline, Value Jet has commenced daily flight from Abuja to Bauchi, Northeast Nigeria.
The airline’s inaugural flight to Bauchi took place on Thursday October 12, 2023.
The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed who launched the inaugural flight promised to ensure that the airline’s operations in the Northeast state were smooth and mutually beneficial to the airline and the people of Bauchi State.
Governor Mohammed stated that the commencement of daily flight operations from Abuja to Bauchi “is a significant step in our commitment to enhance transportation and stimulate our state’s economic development. I firmly believe that transportation is essential to a flourishing economy. Connecting Bauchi to the nation via these flights will aid in fostering ease of doing business and ensuring the safety of our citizens and their goods.”
Speaking on the viability of the Bauchi Airport, the governor stated that “the Abubakar Tafawa International Airport, serving Bauchi and neighboring states like Yobe, Jigawa, Gombe, and Adamawa, is equipped with top-notch facilities for efficient airline operations.
“Understanding the challenges the aviation industry faces, I pledge to support all airlines operating here, ensuring their business not only thrives but expands. I urge these airlines to uphold the utmost standards of professionalism, punctuality, and consistency, as winning passengers’ trust is vital.
ValueJet Airlines started operations in Nigeria, first as executive chatter services airline and has since expanded its operations with scheduled flights to major Nigerian cities including Abuja, Port Harcourt, Yola, Asaba, Jos, Kano and Benin City.
