The United States government has hinted at plans by the Trump administration to make sweeping immigration changes that will restrict citizens of 41 countries from entering the US.
In the new plan, affected countries are categorized into three places that will seem some countries completely banned while others will be partially banned unless such countries “make efforts to address [identified] deficiencies within 60 days.”
According to Reuters, the three categories include, “Full Visa suspension,” “Partial visa suspension (tourist, student and some other visas affected),”and “Countries recommended for a partial suspension if they do not address deficiencies.”
Of the 41 countries, 22 are from Africa while the rest are from Asia, Oceania, South America, the Caribbean and the Middle East.
